Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Reportedly Went On A Luxury Babymoon In Hampshire

The Duke and have reportedly been on a getaway in the English countryside, just weeks before they welcome together later this spring.

The parents-to-be enjoyed a three night break at five-star hotel Heckfield Place in Hampshire, according to Emily Andrews, 's royal correspondent. The couple are believed to have stayed in the Long Room - a private apartment that costs £10,000 a night. Details on the hotel's website note that it comes with its own kitchen, a sitting and dining room, a log fire, a terrace overlooking the gardens and a personal butler.

If the royal couple were after peace and quiet on their so-called 'babymoon', Instagram pictures show that Heckfield Place was a good choice.

The hotel is located in a 400-acre estate and is described on its website as a 'country haven', surrounded by ancient woodlands, walled gardens and views of the Hampshire landscape. According to Andrews' report, the duke and duchess enjoyed walks and the 'delicious food' that is grown on the hotel's organic farm.

With just weeks to go until their baby's reported due date, Harry and Meghan have also been settling into , Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

Extensive renovation work is reported to have been carried out in the lead-up to their move, which was announced by Kensington Palace last year. In a statement released in November, the Palace said: 'Windsor is a very special place for their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate.'
