Vanessa Kirby and The Crown's Helena Bonham Carter enjoyed a Princess Margaret reunion at a BAFTA event in London this week, with Kirby sharing a selfie of the pair - with a casual Timothee Chalamet in the middle - on Instagram.
The 30-year-old actress - who played Margaret in season one and two of the hit Netflix drama, for which she won a BAFTA - posted the image of all three stars smiling broadly for the camera and added the caption: 'Well why ever not??? Marg n' @tchalamet.'
Fans loved the photograph, with some even demanding Chalamet be cast in The Crown. They were also enjoying Bonham Carter - who has taken over as Margaret for season three - and Kirby socialising at the party together.
The trio were attending the pre-BAFTA dinner hosted by producer Barbara Broccoli at Spencer House in Manchester ahead of the ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday (February 10).
The hugely-anticipated third series of The Crown - expected to arrive on Netflix in the autumn - will span the years 1964-76, which will see Her Majesty - played by Olivia Colman - forming a strong allegiance with then-Prime Minister Harold Wilson.
The series will also explore Princess Margaret's 18-year marriage to Lord Snowdon, and her eventual affair with Roddy Llewellyn, played by Harry Treadaway.
Meanwhile, Colman is nominated for Leading Actress at the BAFTAs for her performance as Queen Anne in The Favourite. The eccentric love-triangle period drama is also up for Best Film, Outstanding British Film, and Best Director for Yorgos Lanthimos.
Colman's co-stars Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz are nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
Chalamet is up for Supporting Actor for his role in Beautiful Boy.
