16/1/19 Why Meghan And Harry Didn't Attend
Although the rumour mill is swirling with tall tales of a feud between Meghan Markle and her sister in law Kate Middleton, as always there's a completely reasonable explanation for why Prince Harry and the mum-to-be missed the Duchess Of Cambridge's birthday.
In actual fact, scheduling conflicts were behind the newlyweds absence. A royal source told that after spending Christmas and Boxing Day at Sandringham, Meghan and Harry left Norfolk and returned to in Oxfordshire to take some time off.
Their mini break came before the two returned to London for Meghan's first solo outings, including a visit to the charity Smart Works, and also in time for her .

Out favourite Capricorn, and we're hoping she woke up with a vulgar hangover this morning.

Instead, reports that the mother-of-three is not a massive fan of birthdays, and really only celebrates them for her children.
This year, she celebrated privately with a tea party at Kensington Palace.
A source reportedly told the publication, 'Kate’s not into big birthday celebrations, but [Prince] George and [Princess] Charlotte adore birthday cake, so there will be a special tea party at the Palace with candles and presents.'
Little George was at school yesterday, whilst Kate's husband was at an official engagement, so it looks like it was just Kate, Charlotte and Louis for the intimate soiree.
Thankfully, Prince William, who was at the Royal London Hospital to visit London’s Air Ambulance, did not forget his wife of eight year's b-day, telling children who had made the Duchess a card that he too noted the big day.
Last year reported that she similarly enjoyed her day of birth in a low-key manner by: 'celebrating privately with [Prince] William and the children.'
In fact, the last time the brunette had a public birthday bash was for her when she, whilst pregnant with George, visited Cirque de Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall with William, her parents, and her siblings.
