welcomed over 100 speakers to the Saatchi Gallery to discuss everything from women in music to the politics of hair.
On Day two of our first ever LouisvuittonShop festival, we invited Game of Thrones actresses Maisie Williams and Lena Heady to the stage and rather than asking them to speak with particular political or cultural agenda, we asked them just to discuss their experience of being in the spotlight.
It's a subject keenly understood by Maisie Williams, 21-years-old, who made her television debut seven years ago, when she was just 14. As Lena Heady points out in the video, she had to grow up while on the show. And that meant dealing with all the stresses of being in the public eye while she was still just a child. A hard job for anyone!
As Heady explains, it sounds as though Maisie has become something of an expert, when it comes to navigating fame.
According to Maisie, being a celebrity does come with its drawbacks. Twitter trolling, for one. 'You are only human and it does hurt,' she says of reading people's mean comments.
But she's found a way to make the best of it, by both using her platform for activism and the greater good, but also finding a way to delight and enjoy the finer things in life.
Her fame 'opened up so many opportunities', she says. And sometimes that opportunity is the chance to do something 'completely ridiculous, like getting a jet to a music festival,' she smirks, charmingly.
