Prince William spoke of his mother Lady Diana yesterday.
Whilst meeting some of the teenagers honoured at the BBC 1 Teen Awards, the father-of-three talked about his own eldest child, Prince George.
Whilst taking with 14 year-old Junior, who was so badly bullied about his love of dance he had to move and has since started the hashtag #BoysCanDance, William expressed his outrage.
Speaking to the inspirational teens the Royal explained, ‘George is doing dancing as well, he loves it. And it's kind of… my mother always used to dance, she loved dancing.’
He reiterated to Junior, ‘And if it's something you love, you do what you love. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Keep at it.'
Little five year-old George his 35 minute dance-classes at his school Thomas’ Battersea. Princess Charlotte is also said to be a keen dancer, proving it runs in the family.
Lady Diana, the children’s grandmother, loved to dance, and even performed on stage with Wayne Sleep at the Royal Opera House in 1985 after enjoying private lessons with the choreographer.
The late Princess also famously danced with John Travolta at the White House in 1985 and she was a patron of the English National Ballet from 1989 to 1997.
