Prince Philip, 96, has been out of commission for about a month now following . In a slew of royal wedding updates this week, Kensington Palace confirmed that Prince Louis will not attend the royal wedding, but that Prince Philip may or may not.
As of May 4, the family was 'very much [hoping]' Philip would be able to come, but confirmed (via royal correspondent for magazine Emily Nash) he was still recuperating.

Former royal editor for The Sun andDuncan Larcombe told there is 'no question' Philip will be in attendance for the ceremony that day, but he's less sure about how Philip will handle the subsequent two ceremonies.
Royal expert told the site 'If Philip is confined to his room, I would expect he would watch the ceremony on TV—and, I would think, after the wedding, Harry would bring his new wife to see his grandfather and perhaps enjoy a piece of elderflower and lemon cake together.'
