Sophie Turner, and haver of nice hair (as we call her) has delivered wisdom that's got us questioning whether she really is 22 years-old.
Last winter, at only 21 years-old, actress and brit Sophie Turner announced that she was engaged to her boyfriend of almost one year, Joe Jonas.
And whilst bagging a cute Jonas bro (with a cute puppy to match, hey Porky Basquiat!) is pretty great, Turner does not consider this romantic milestone to be her greatest achievement and thank goodness.
The young powerhouse opened up to about her high-profile relationship and, though it’s totally great, it's not in the same league as her career.
She told the glossy, ‘I’m still like, Holy sh*t! I’m engaged. There’s this weird misconception that being married is the greatest thing that’ll ever happen to you. But I’ve always found that my career is something I work for, and when I achieve something, there’s a sense that this is the greatest thing I’ll do in my life.'
Obviously there are already some impressive things that could define Turner’s life - like starring in arguably the era-defining TV show Game of Thrones - and she's only just getting started. So the idea that her (lovely) relationship could be her greatest achievement doesn't not make a whole load of sense.
Turner explained the difference between her personal and professional highlight, 'It’s lovely to be engaged. Not like I achieved anything, but I found my person, like I’d find a house that I love and want to stay in forever. There’s a sense of peace that comes with finding your person. But there’s a drive that comes with your career.'
We love this sentiment, so congrats to Turner for her banging romantic life, but even more props for her drive and ambition.
