The Weeknd just released a new EP called My Dear Melancholy, and fans are doing what they do best—by which we mean analyzing every single lyric with Selena Gomez in mind. But when it comes to "Call Out My Name," it might not be incorrect to assume that the rapper's ex was an inspiration.

The song is clearly about one of The Weeknd's former relationships, and starts off:

"We found each other / I helped you out of a broken place / You gave me comfort / But falling for you was my mistake."

Meanwhile verse two appears to make reference to Selena's kidney transplant, and implies that The Weeknd was almost a donor.

"I said I didn’t feel nothing baby, but I lied / I almost cut a piece of myself for your life."
