1. Coral Lips

'I'm really into coral lips at the moment - that Living Coral colour. There's something so summery about it. Pink is spring, but coral only really works in the summer, it looks a bit odd in winter.

'I love sheer glossy coral shades that feel really fresh and vibrant. A good way to wear them if you don’t have the fullest lips is to apply pinky nude lip liner all over, or even a red pencil if you want a red coral, and then finish with a coral gloss over the top. It looks very delicious!

'Keep the rest of your make-up pared back and clean and avoid pearly tones of coral to stop things from going too '80s.'

2. Leave The Foundation At Home

'In summer I like saying goodbye to foundation. Instead, get a really good concealer, put it where you need it (I like to apply it around the nose and under eyes) and just buff it in. I just think it's so nice in summer to let your skin breathe a bit.

'If you want to wear a bit more bronzer but don't want to get concealer panda eyes, simply dust a bit over the top. I often do that for red carpet make-up - I'll take a bit of bronzer and buff it into the lower lash line to stop the concealer going all the way up to the eyes, which can look a bit stark. A light veil of bronzer at the end brings everything together.'

3. Glossy Eyes

'I love a bit of eye gloss in the summer. I'll either use a really fine metallic eyeshadow applied with my fingers and then brush gloss over the top, or I'll use an eye gloss with a bit of glitter in it.

'You only need a tiny bit in the centre of your eyelid and a bit of waterproof mascara and you suddenly look really summery and gorgeous.'

4. Bespoke Blusher

'I wouldn't contour in summer because it feels very heavy, but I definitely would use blusher everywhere! I love mixing blusher with bronzer to make my own because no one makes those colours.

'If you've got cream bronzers and blushers at home, try experimenting with mixing them and add a drop of highlighter for an all over face glow. Then put a bit in your palms and pat it on around your temples, forehead and cheek bones. It looks way more effortless when you apply it like that .'

5. Ultra Hairy Brows

A post shared by (@lisaeldridgemakeup) on

'I just love brows! I love using a pen or a really thin pencil and just drawing on loads of individual hairs and then using a really good brow gel on them. I know it's old school but, in my opinion, brows can never look better than that. I just think it works - it's summery and glossy.

'You can use to keep them in place but you need to be wary of crusty brows. Remember you hardly need any product at all - you might think you’re not using enough but you are!'
