Days after it was reported Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were taking a break from their relationship, the 25-year-old singer has just unfollowed her BBF and creative collaborator, artist Petra Collins, on Instagram.
The move comes just weeks after the pair attended Coach's fashion week show together, where they smiled and held hands together in front of the cameras.
Gomez first met Collins when she was photographed and interviewed for the September 2015 issue of magazine.
Last year, the 25-year-old photographer directed Gomez in her 'Fetish' music video in which the Texas-born singer sits in a kitchen surrounded by smashed plates and a puddle of rain, and her AMAs performance.
'We were both kind of like awkward and timid in the beginning,' Gomez opened up to Collins in a conversation for last summer.
'People don't know but my personal life ties into the work we do together because you know things about my life that nobody knows and I know a lot about your life that nobody knows. It comes out, somehow.'
They also spilt their beans on their sisterly relationship.
'You make me feel more confident about the choices I make, like a sister. You help me, you encourage me and validate how I feel in that moment,' Gomez gushed. 'I wouldn't have been able to grow into the artist I am right now without you. It's like this fire-and-water, duality thing going on.'
The singer's unfollowing of Collins comes three months after she had a major Instagram revamp and unfollowed hundreds of friends and celebrities.
In January, the 'Wolves' singer unfollowed her assistant Theresa Mingus's, several of her close friends' who she's been seen out or on holiday with, Gigi Hadid's, and Demi Lovato's among others.
At the end of last year, the actress also unfollowed her mother, Mandy Teefey, following a bust-up regarding Gomez's romance with Bieber.
Unfollowing people on Instagram sure is one way to cull friends quickly.
