The new Justice League film is getting released on Friday in the UK, and the superhero ensemble movie will hopefully give us the Wonder Woman injection we need to see us through to November 2019.
Continuing on from the last DC Extended Universe film Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, the new flick charts the joining of Superheros Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) to fight to save earth.
But this epic line-up and exciting trailer isn't what has the Twitterers talking. Instead it's the outfits of the Amazons of Themyscira.
Many people (including us) applauded the portrayal of the Amazons in the Patty Jenkin's directed Wonder Woman.
The women cast to play the warrior inhabitants of the island were chosen for their physical ability and dressed for battle.
back in June, LouisvuittonShop spoke to one of the women featured in the fight scene for the film. Of the iconic outfit, she said: 'It was an honour to be able to put it on everyday.'
Complete with breast plates and body armour, costume designer Lindy Hemming pretty much nailed it when r 'authentic and real' fighting gear that was simultaneously, 'hot as hell.'
However, photographs of the Justice League Amazons have emerged showing featuring slightly less practical armour. Also, they're more revealing.
, looking to the film's new male directer Zack Snyder and costume designer Michael Wilkinson.
However, there is some dispute as to whether the furore is even necessary. Some people have pointed out that the outfits have changed because they are from a different era than those in Wonder Woman, whilst others have suggested this isn't the Amazon's actual fighting gear, which is much less revealing.
The debate continues.
