If, like me, you're currently sat at your desk wondering why you didn't bring a sleeping bag to work to cope with the frosty climes, then you'll likely appreciate a post about great jumpers.
It's been an interesting season for New York Style Week, with many regulars (Proenza, Rodarte) opting out of a Big Apple runway show in favour of other cities. There have been some highlights, of course, but we've not seen that many hugely punchy statements on the catwalk over the last few days.
One thing I can say for certain though, is that New York designers have been turning out some lust-worthy knitwear. The kind that makes you sit up and say, 'yup, I'll have that right now, thanks very much.'
As surely as you can see your breath turning to vapour as it leaves your mouth, you're going to want a Victoria Beckham drop-waist sweater or a Sies Marjan rust coloured crew neck.
So here is a round up of some of the best and cosiest jumper styles to come out of NYFW so far, plus alternatives for those wanting to snap up a lookalike before this Winter is through.
Victoria Beckham's Drop Waist And Tie-Hem
As oversized jumpers go, this brown-hued wonder-knit from Victoria Beckham with both thigh grazing hem and belt detail is instantly covetable.
It's pretty difficult to find a drop-hem with belt or ties on the market at the moment, but here are some happy mediums:
Left to right: | and , both Stella McCartney.
Sies Marjan Ruched Knit
Gorgeous, rust coloured and oversized with the beautiful knotted detail at the front, there really is nothing not to love about this Sies Marjan knit.
If you're looking to match that oversize feeling and the warm pumpkin colour, try one of these for size:

Jonathan Simkhai's Puff Sleeves
Puff sleeves and bell sleeves have been back for a little while, of course. But as New York keeps turning out newer and more beautiful versions, we'll keep stocking up on them.

Cinq A Sept's Lace-Up Details
Again, we've seen lace up jumpers with varying degrees of luxuriousness over the last two winters, but there's something very attractive about Cinq A Sept's offering.
